Still Life with Tea; painted by Hungarian artist Károly Krusnyák (1889-1960), who studied painting
at the School of Applied Arts in Budapest between 1907-1912. He was a founding member of the National Salon, and president of the Benczúr Society.
He regularly exhibited at the National Salon between 1916-1957.
Awards:
Harkányi Award (1916), Balló Award (1916), Röck Szilárd Award (1920), state award (1921),
Golden Artist Award, Budapest Award (1941). His works can be found in the Hungarian National Gallery in the Hungarian public collection.
Oil on canvas laid on board, signed lower right.
Great original condition with aged patina, later wooden frame.
