Mid 20th Century Still Life with Yellow Blooms, by Italian Australian artist Mario Telese (1926-2012). Telese emigrated to Australia in his early 30’s and pursued his painting career in the 1960’s; he was ‘gifted with a spontaneously explosive artistic talent’. His work was exhibited by the Toorak Art Gallery in 1967.
