c1900 Moonlit view of South Head, Sydney Harbour by James Robert Hutchings (1872-1962).
Born in the Isle of Wight and emigrated to Australia in 1883, initially arriving in Hobart with his family, before settling in Sydney in 1897 where he painted theatre sets at the Tivoli theatre for a living. Known for his Sydney Harbour seascapes, Blue Mountain, rural, and New Zealand landscapes.
