Painted by Australian artist Douglas Pratt OBE (1900-1972).
Born in Katoomba NSW, Pratt studied art at the Royal Art Society NSW and Sydney Long’s School of Etching. He went on to have a successful career exhibiting throughout Australia, working in various mediums – oils, watercolours, pencil and etching.
Appointed to the Art Advisory Board in 1953, Vice President of the Royal Art Society NSW and awarded an OBE for his services to the Arts.
