French c1800 Century Portrait of Elisabeth, as titled verso. A detailed and delicate gouache painting showcasing the beauty of this young French lady with her coiffed powdered hair which was fashionable in France during the 18th Century. The paper backing is later, however the original metal pins/studs can be felt underneath.
Beautifully hand carved wooden frame with slightly convex glass.
