A pair of handsome 19th Century English Horse engravings, handcoloured and beautifully framed by a French Parisian framer/art dealer in hardwood frames with decorative matts. Parisian label verso.
The two horses, Brown Duchess and Sprig of Nobility were winners at English horse racing events in the mid 1800’s.
One of the frames has a very tiny pin prick hole in the top front, mentioned for accuracy however not visible unless closely inspected.
The prints are in great condition, there is some reflection from the glass in the photos (not marks on the paper).
Measures: 24cm high, 28cm wide.
