A Georgian era c1815 Portrait of a Lady; behind glass in its original ornate and substantial frame.
Water colour on paper/card, this Portrait came to us as one of a matching pair, the other, a gentleman no doubt a close relation of this lady, a brother or her husband. The male portrait is dated verso 1815. We have included the photo of that inscription here for your reference.
Measures including frame: 46.5cm high, 43cm wide, 8cm deep.
