A Georgian era c1815 Portrait of a Gentleman; behind glass in its original ornate and substantial frame.
Water colour on paper/card, this Portrait came to us as one of a matching pair, the other, a lady, no doubt a close relation of this gentleman, a sister or his wife.
This male portrait is dated and inscribed verso “The portrait taken March 1815 aged 42yrs and 3 months”

Great antique condition, some minor frame restoration, ready to hang.
