Toits des Villages..Village Rooftops. An early 20th Century view over the rooftops of a country village in France surrounded by deep green trees and the glimpse of a river; by French Parisian Artist Richard Chanlaire (1896-1973).

A Paris born artist, who is listed as having exhibited at the  Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts 1928-29, Salon des Tuileries 1929-30 and the Salon des Artists Indépendants 1931-32.

Oil on canvas, signed lower right, the painting sits in its typically French tapered wooden frame.

Measures including frame: 74cm high, 86cm wide, 4.5cm deep.
