Last Light, by renowned Australian artist Erik Langker OBE (1898-1982).
Born and raised in Balmain Sydney to a Danish mariner Father and German Mother, he attend Balmain Primary School and Fort St Highschool for Boys, before pursuing fine arts as a career, going on to study at the Sydney Art School and Royal Art Society, of which he later became president (1946).
He was a respected Art Administrator & President of the Trustees for Art Gallery NSW 1962-1974.
Awarded an OBE in 1961, and a Knighthood in 1968 for services to the Arts.
His work is held at the Art Gallery of NSW
