Kangaroo Valley by the English/Australian landscape artist Harry Emmett (1900-1979).
Born in Staffordshire UK, Emmett trained under the British artist Percy Bradshaw, before emigrating to Sydney in 1948. Inspired by the unique Australian bush, he eventually moved to Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, where he took up painting full time.
His painting ‘Katoomba Landscape’ was a finalist in the 1958 AGNSW Wynne Prize, the prestigious award for landscape painting.

The painting sits in its original vintage white wooden frame.
