French c1900 classical romantic scene, after François Boucher (1703-1770). Known for popularizing the Rococo style throughout Europe in the 18th century during the reign of Louis XV. Boucher was commissioned by Louis XV to paint his romantic and bucolic scenes in the Royal Cháteaus of Versaille, Fontainebleau, Bellevue and Chaisy.

Oil on canvas, original side studding to the stretcher.

Measures: 45cm high, 61cm wide.

Original condition with aged patina, giving the painting its French faded grandeur atmosphere.
