A Vintage oil painting by listed artist William O’Shea (1934-) of a uniquely Australian Landscape view, an old dirt road weaving through the dry scrub and gumstrees, with grazing cows.
Born in Sydney 1934, William O’Shea is a self taught artist with a commercial background, and was a teacher of screen printing at the School of Graphic Design Sydney. In 1980 he left Sydney to live in the countryside, and continued to paint the landscapes of his beloved Australian bush.
Oil on board, signed lower left W’OShea, dated verso 1978 with inscription ‘Bush Road, Windellama’.
The painting sits in its original vintage gilt wood frame.
Measures including frame: 23.5cm high, 44.5cm wide.
