An atmospheric study of trees, by Australian female artist Marjorie Woolcock (1898-1965).
Born in Melbourne, she studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and the George Bell School. A painter, sculptor and print maker, she was a founding member of the Victorian Artists Society and the Melbourne Society of Women Artists.
Her work is held in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery Victoria and Geelong Gallery.
