A charming textured impressionist ‘Afternoon Sketch’ of ‘African Skies’ by Australian landscape artist Robert Wilson (1942-).
Robert Wilson spent his early years in the Orange area, and studied under Arthur Murch and Henry Hanke at the Royal Art Society NSW.
A successful artist who has held many solo exhibitions around Australia, he was also an art teacher who taught painting at the University of Bathurst for 20 years. Robert Wilson continues to travel, and paint, outback landscapes.
